Citizen Science: People-Power Building Knowledge of Nature

Do you like fishing or diving? Fancy fossil hunting? Interested in bird or frog calls? If you are curious about the natural world and want be part of a bigger picture then there is a citizen science project that needs you!

In National Science Week museum experts Di Bray, Erich Fitzgerald and Karen Rowe will introduce citizen science projects; Redmap for marine monitoring, Palaeontology digs for finding fossils and Communities Listening for Nature for recording and analysing nature sounds.

Come along to hear what these wildlife projects are achieving around Australia.
