Save the Bees

15 August 2019 @ 2:00 pm3:00 pm

Free

Come and hear about the importance of Bees in our world. Founder of Save the Bees Australia – Bee The Cure, Simon Mulvany is an ex ranger, gardener and beekeeper who has made it his mission to educate people about the plight of the precious pollinators, both indigenous and introduced.

Bees have been humanities greatest companion for the last 10 000 years. Bees share the same taste as us being attracted to the perfumes and flowers that we are. As plants don’t have legs they enlisted bees to do the pollination through beauty and fragrance. Modern farming practices are stressing bees and the world is seeing major collapses in honeybee populations. If bees thrive so does the human race. Through pollination bees provide food for humanity.
