Café Scientifique: The Art of Parasites – Painting a New Image

Join us for this National Science Week event and the launch of the stunning artwork Gula Guri mayin “Heal the Body” by indigenous far north Queensland artist Bernard Lee Singleton and animation by Russell Milledge and Tai Inoue followed by a lively café scientifique discussion that will explore and celebrate the science of parasites and its relation to human health through art. Find out how parasites have affected our lives and the important role that artists have in communicating science.
