Museums Victoria invites families to build their understanding of climate science as they work together to create a climate pledge for their family. We are hearing more and more how climate change is affecting our Earth. But what does this really mean for humans and our natural environments, and is there anything we can do about it? As part of National Science Week, Climate Change: Families for a thriving future provides an exciting opportunity for families to deepen their understanding of climate science and our changing world, as they discuss climate action and work together as a family to create a climate pledge. The webinar will begin by unpacking the science behind why our climate is changing. Participants will engage with information from the latest reports as they learn about how climate change is specifically affecting us here in Victoria. The second part of the program will invite families to work together to create a pledge of actions to help us all have a thriving future.
Suitable for families (recommended for children 8 and older)
